Bon Odori at Alameda Buddhist Temple


ALAMEDA — Buddhist Temple of Alameda, 2325 Pacific Ave. in Alameda, will hold its 2015 Obon Festival on Saturday, July 18.

Mini-Food Bazaar will start at 4 p.m., offering teriyaki, udon, hot dogs and hamburgers.

There will also be cultural demonstrations, including a taiko performance at 5:30 p.m., and an ikebana exhibit.

Bon Odori starts at 7:30 p.m. The last dance practice will be held on Thursday, July 16, at 7:30 p.m.

Hatsubon and Obon service takes place on Sunday, July 19, at 10 a.m.
