Duo Pianists Izumi Kashiwagi, Rose Chen to Perform

TORRANCE — Duo Pianists Izumi Kashiwagi and Rose Chen, who earned their doctorates in the USC Thornton Piano Studio of renowned pianist and teacher Kevin Fitz Gerald, will perform on Friday, May 6, from 12:15 to 12:45 p.m. at First Lutheran Church and School, 2900 W. Carson St. (between Maple and Flower), Torrance.

Aficionados immediately recognize Kashiwagi and Chen as among the top collaborative and ensemble artists in town. They have appeared separately on the Classical Crossroads and its Manhattan Beach predecessor series numerous times and have won the hearts and loyalties of audiences across Southern California. They appeared together as a piano duo for the first time on the Brand Library series in Glendale. Their South Bay concert is being greeted by audience members with the highest anticipation.
