Obon Bazaar at Buddhist Church of Lodi
LODI — Buddhist Church of Lodi, 23 N. Stockton St. in Lodi, will hold its Obon Bazaar on Saturday and Sunday, June 25-26.
The event will feature a raffle, bingo, Japanese food and Obon dancing.
Rev. Katsuya Kusunoki will give tours of the Hondo and Sanctuary both days from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.

Saturday, June 25
Food sales from 12 to 8 p.m.
Bingo from 1 to 8 p.m.
Ukulele Strummers of Lodi & Stockton at 2:20 p.m.
Gagaku (Japanese traditional orchestra) by Northern California Gagaku Group at 3 p.m.
Bass guitar songs by Rev. Yuki Sugahara at 3:30 p.m.
Shigin (Japanese vocalized poem) by Kokusei Ryu Shigin Kai at 4 p.m.
Minyo (Japanese folk dance and music) by Tanoshimi Kai at 4:30 p.m.
Children’s game booths from 5:30 to 8 p.m. (Saturday only)
Sunday, June 26
Food sales from 12 to 7 p.m.
Bingo from 1 to 6 p.m.
Drumming by Stockton Bukkyo Taiko from 6:30 to 7 p.m.
Bon Odori from 7 to 9 p.m. Raffle drawing during intermission.
