Parlier Obon Festival on Saturday

PARLIER — Buddhist Church of Parlier, 360 S. Newmark Ave. in Parlier, will hold its Obon Festival on Saturday, July 23, from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m.

From 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., food will be sold, including somen, somen salad, Spam nigiri, and shave ice. Medaka no Gakko will have a bake sale.

Fresno Taiko will perform. Bon Odori starts at 8 p.m. Even if you missed the dance practices, feel free to join in.
