Reception for City Council Candidate
A reception supporting Jeff Koji Maloney, a candidate for Alhambra City Council, 3rd District, will be held on Wednesday, June 22, at 6:30 p.m. at Far Bar, 347 E. First St. in Little Tokyo.
Jeff Maloney
Maloney, a graduate of UC San Diego and USC’s Gould School of Law, serves as chief staff counsel for the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy. He says his candidacy is focused on “maintaining our high quality of life and ensuring a sustainable future for generations to come.” He is a member of the Board of Governors of the Japanese American Bar Association and the Board of Directors of the Go For Broke National Education Center.
Hosts include former Assemblymember George Nakano, Los Angeles Community College Trustee Mike Fong, Alhambra City Councilmembers Gary Yamauchi and Stephen Sham, Monterey Park City Councilmember Hans Liang, West Covina Mayor James Toma, Garvey School District board member Henry Lo, San Gabriel Valley Municipal Water District board member Thomas Wong, Terry Hara, Bill Seki and Stacey Fong Toda.
