Reedley Obon Festival on Aug. 1

REEDLEY — Reedley Buddhist Church, 2035 15th St. in Reedley, will hold its Obon Festival on Saturday, Aug. 1, starting at 5 p.m.

Bon Odori begins at 8 p.m. The final dance practices will be held in the Conference Room on Tuesday, July 28, and Thursday, July 30, at 7 p.m. The teachers are Brooke Doi and Abby Quiroz.

Dinner includes teriyaki chicken bowl, chicken salad, beef stick, and watermelon. Other foods available include somen, snow cones, and mochi ice cream.

Hatsubon and Obon service will be held on Sunday, Aug. 2, at 9:30 a.m.
