Screening of ‘Masterless’ at Gardena Valley Baptist Church
GARDENA — Gardena Valley Baptist Church, 1630 W. 158th St. in Gardena, presents “Masterless,” directed by Craig Shimahara, on Saturday, April 30, from 1 to 3 p.m.
Kane Madison is an architect working in Los Angeles while his doppelganger-like spirit, an 18th-century ronin, wanders a parallel netherworld of masked demons and Japanese swordsmen. When tragedy strikes, Kane embarks on a journey of faith that prompts the ronin to seek out his true master in the spirit world. Both will face many battles along their interweaving roads to peace.
The film stars Adam LaVorgna and Kaho Minami.
Shimahara, who also wrote the screenplay, will be on hand for Q&A.
Free admission. Age: Dove Films recommendation is 12 years and up.
